NHS Lacrosse is in the 2010 Playoffs!

Congratulations Northwood Lax!  For the second straight year, we have been selected to participate in the US Lacrosse CIF Playoff Tournament.  We have been selected as part of the Division II tournament, as a #6 seed. We will be playing the #3 seed Mission Viejo HS, at MVHS stadium on Tuesday night (5/4).  Game time is tentatively set for 7:30 pm.

Summer Lacrosse Camp!

WE OWN THE CITY!!!

On an incredibly beautiful day, the Northwood High Boys' Lacrosse team reclaimed its right to say "We Own the City!"

In two decisive, dominating games the T-Wolves played like champs and brought the trophy back home.  First beating Irvine High 7-2, and then their long-time rivals, Woodbridge High, 9-1 in the championship game, the Northwood boys played with the skill and teamwork that they have worked so hard to achieve all season long.  Two of the seniors came home with MVP awards:  Max Lindsey as Defensive MVP, and Aaron Bucka as Tournament MVP.

And special thanks to all of the parent volunteers who worked the snack bar, the ticket desk and the zillion other jobs to make the event such a fantastic success.

Inaugural Timberwolf 5K Run Saturday, February 20, 2010

This was a huge success thanks in no small part to the Boy's Lacrosse team.  You can watch video of the coverage by ICTV here.

The Athletic Boosters are very grateful to everyone who ran and helped out.  This will be back next year, bigger and even better!!

Player Tiers

As you know, the players will be organized into two groups, "new" and "returning" players, rather than having a traditional varsity / junior varsity arrangement. This is due to district constraints, unfortunately. Coach is working very hard to get this changed. The tiered structure allows all the players to train and practice together everyday to prepare for the future. Coach is committed to making the NHS Boys Lacrosse program one of the best in the county.

The fees needed from the players is determined by group. They are:
